Open Call!

Welcome artists! NOMA Gallery is excited to announce our upcoming exhibition "Dog Days of Summer" and we would love for you to be a part of it.

The phrase "dog days of summer" comes from ancient times when people believed that the hot and sultry days of summer were caused by the rising of the star Sirius, also known as the "Dog Star." The star is the brightest in the night sky and during the summer months, it rises and sets with the sun.

For our exhibition, we want to play off this historical phrase and include artwork depicting our favorite animals and pets. Whether it's a portrait of a beloved furry friend or a whimsical depiction of wild animals enjoying the summer heat, we want to see your unique interpretation of the theme. So, let's get creative and bring our love for animals and pets to the spotlight this June. We can't wait to see what you have in store for us.
