I enjoy visiting horse shows and watching horses run in the fields. With camera in hand I have lots of photos of horses, so I created this simple but elegant horse. I felt it did not need any background but its' motion, carriage and mane and tail told the story. The professional framing also adds to the Western beauty of the painting. The framer burnt the edges of the watercolor paper to give it a dynamic look. (Note) When I had the painting photographed for website and reproductions, it was reversed, but it is the same painting. This submission is the original).
